Creating a video for the University of Hull’s Scarborough Campus was an exciting and unique project. The goal was to produce a fun and engaging video that provided a helicopter view of the campus, highlighting the achievements of both students and teachers in a way that could be appreciated by all. Since the campus was being sold to another college, the video needed to showcase its accomplishments.
To add a playful element, we drew inspiration from a unique feature: the campus furniture was made by a company that included a mouse on most of its pieces. We brought this mouse to life, crafting a narrative where the mouse had been onsite since the beginning, overseeing everyone and everything. This character, who loved the campus and saw everything, became the perfect guide for our video.
We had fun animating the mouse’s perspective, creating a video that was both informative and entertaining. The final product captured the spirit of the Scarborough Campus, celebrating its achievements and providing a memorable farewell as it transitioned to a new college.
